What Is Managed Storage?

Managed Storage at our locations consists of Federal Government Approved, Palletized, Climate Controlled warehousing which is used by our customers for both long and short term storage.

Who Needs Managed Storage?

Those of our customers that require our professional movers to relocate their belongings to storage need managed storage. Our personnel will inventory each of the items, noting the condition of each piece and provide the owner with a detailed written log of all items that go into our managed facility. All goods are individually tagged, wrapped and placed into large wooden pallets, sealed, labelled and placed in the appropriate location in our warehouse, depending upon the amount of time the goods will be there. Special pieces and upholstered pieces are plastic wrapped and placed on our rack that is custom designed so that these items will not touch each other or anything else and therefore will remain in the condition in which they were picked up. Only authorized Harvey Moving & Storage personnel have access to this warehouse facility, there is a security and monitoring system and this ensures the safe storage of all lots until such time as they are delivered out to the new residence. Pricing for this storage is based on weight, so each customer only pays for the amount that they store.
